Standards

Because the soldered cable connection is our specialty, we have adopted the SAE Aerospace Standard AS4461 for “soldered wire and cable terminations in aerospace vehicles.” This means our assemblers and inspectors are trained to a standard that is particularly important for ruggedized connectors such as circular military connectors.

ACC Manufacturing is able to build wiring harnesses that range from those with hundreds of connectors, to those with one wire and two terminals. That kind of diversity is best covered by the ANSI approved IPC/WHMA-A-620 standard covering “Requirements and Acceptance for Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies”, which we have adopted.
