ACC fosters a unique culture of community caring

Alberta Computer Cable (ACC) of Calgary was recently honoured with the prestigious 2004 Volunteer Calgary Leaders In Business Award for exceptional commitment to the community. ACC was also welcomed as a partner within Alberta’s Promise - a movement established through an act of the Alberta Legislature to facilitate partnerships that help make Alberta the best place in the world to raise children.

ACC’s fervour for fundraising is unique in that it boasts 100% employee involvement in fundraising and volunteer activities that run year-round. The culture of charitable giving at ACC is as tangible as daily business operations. Grassroots activities are initiated both by management and employees, and range from formal organized events such as the annual Skate-a-Kid-to-Camp pledge event for the Between Friends Club, to bake sales, barbecues and even toy drives to help those in need.
